Planning and Design
At Sunview, we take a collaborative approach to client relationships and the project as a whole. We see ourselves as part of a larger team and, from the outset, work closely with homeowners, designers, architects and builders to understand the project vision and offer informed technical and aesthetic solutions. We start with an in-person meeting where everyone gets to meet and we answer any questions our clients or partners may have about our process and capabilities.
After our initial meeting we set about gathering the necessary information to provide a comprehensive quote. With our quotes, it is our intention that they are inclusive and accurately present the total project cost as it is defined at the time. Once we have an approved budget we move to an in-depth review of technical drawings and specifications, identifying any issues which might impact timelines or project goals. At this time we’ll make any material, hardware or technical design recommendations we have.

Production and Finishing
Many of our clients are early adopters, pushing the design and construction of their homes both aesthetically and technically. To stay ahead, we research, develop and adopt new technologies, products, and techniques as they become available and applicable. To better control timelines, quality and cost, we developed a just-in-time fabrication process. Our state-of-the-art 14,000 square foot shop houses our Homag Vantage 200 CNC machine,1600 square foot assembly room and a 800 square foot spray room.
As part of our custom service we provide material and finish samples, colour matching and boards. For a final finish to be of the highest quality, each proceeding step of the build must maintain the specified grade. Our start to finish in-house system allows for the required level of control and quality assurance our customers have come to expect from Sunview.

Installation and Quality Assurance
Our installation team has decades of experience. As millwork, lighting and cabinetry systems become more integrated, our clients rely on our expertise to help guide their projects smoothly from start to finish - this is especially critical at the installation phase. Our tightly scheduled, just-in-time fabrication is done off-site and delivered in stages. This reduces the time and space we require on-site and minimizes the risk of damaging the work with prolonged storage or repeated moves.
From the beginning, our design team works hard to understand and anticipate the requirements of the mechanical systems in the home, but we know last minute changes are unavoidable. Our on-site team members are expert communicators and problem solvers, and work closely with the other trades to ensure the best possible finish.
